Introduction
Contrast Software Solutions (“Contrast,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit thecontrastsolution.com, contact us, or communicate with us about our services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information:
- Contact information: Your name, email address, phone number, and other information you choose to provide.
- Inquiry and business information: Details about your website, organization, service needs, or communications with us.
- Website usage information: Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages requested, which web servers commonly record to deliver and protect a website. With your permission, we also collect analytics information about how visitors use our website (see section 4).
We generally collect information that you provide directly or that is collected automatically when you use our website.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries and service requests.
- Communicate about our services and potential projects.
- Manage client relationships and provide ongoing support.
- Follow up with people who have expressed interest in our services.
- Share relevant information about our services and offerings, where permitted by law.
- Maintain, secure, and improve our website and business operations.
- Meet applicable legal and business obligations.
You may request that we stop sending you promotional communications at any time.
3. Information Submitted Through Our Forms
When you contact us or submit a project inquiry, we may collect information such as your name, email address, company or organization, job title, website address, phone number, services requested, project details, desired start timeframe, and estimated budget.
Our forms ask for different information:
- Contact form: your name, email address, the kind of help you need, your website address (optional), and your message.
- Start a Project form: your name, email address, company or organization, the services you need, when you’re hoping to start, and your project details. Your job title, company website, phone number, and estimated budget are optional.
We use this information to respond to inquiries, evaluate potential projects, communicate about services, and manage business relationships.
Form submissions may be delivered to and retained in our business email systems and, when appropriate, transferred to internal business management systems. Submitting a form does not create a public account or publicly display your information.
We do not require visitors to provide SMS consent to submit a project inquiry. The Start a Project form includes an optional checkbox for text message updates, and we record whether you selected it along with the wording shown at the time.
To limit spam, our form handler keeps short-lived, anonymous counters based on a one-way hash of your IP address. These are deleted after about an hour.
We may retain correspondence and contact information for future follow-up, business purposes, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to support the functionality of our website and understand how visitors use it.
- Essential: Your browser stores your cookie choice so we don’t ask again on every page. This is always active and contains no personal information.
- Analytics (optional): With your permission, we use Google Analytics to measure website traffic, page views, referral sources, and interactions with our website. This information helps us understand how people find our services and where we can improve the experience.
Optional analytics is disabled until you provide consent through our cookie preferences. Until then, Google Analytics is not loaded and does not set cookies. We do not use advertising, remarketing, or advertising personalization features.
You can accept, reject, or change your analytics preferences at any time using the Cookie Preferences control in the website footer. If you turn analytics off, we stop collecting analytics information and remove Google Analytics cookies from your browser where possible. Information collected before you changed your preference may remain with Google under its retention practices.
Google may process information collected through Google Analytics in accordance with its own privacy practices. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services for additional details.
